Carrelet Fishing
From its mouth to Bordeaux, the Gironde estuary is home to squares, the imposing square fishing nets that have given their name to a typical estuarine fishing technique and the cabins – on stilts – for this practice. This fishing chance (the nets are regularly raised and no bait is used) is mainly practiced by amateurs.
We love to spend a late afternoon in a Carrelet, just to relax, sharing a drink, and appreciating the sunset. Sometimes we bring some local seafood, and that’s it….paradise. Just ask us to organise it for you!
